Among Richmonders, Lakeside's food has been considered for years as the finest cuisine in town. Members who enjoy dining out often come back to Lakeside for its quality and service. For the business luncheon, Saturday night dinner, or that very special event, Lakeside's catered affairs are always outstanding.
	Located behind the main clubhouse is a full-sized swimming pool, kiddie pool, and play ground. Each pool is completely fenced, and banked by towering trees to the south. These magnificent trees keep a large area around the pool shaded, allowing members to enjoy both the sun and the shade.
	The pool is open from mid-May to Labor Day. A lifeguard is always on duty during pool hours. Food service for pool visitors is provided through a snack bar, which is directly accessible from poolside.

Our fitness center is located downstairs in our club house. The fitness center contains some of the finest exercise equipment, both cardiovascular machines and weight equipment, available today. Our machines include an elliptical/cross trainer, life cycles, treadmills, stair master and others. The weight room features many resistance machines as well as a large selection of free weights and exercise balls. A personal trainer is available for private sessions to structure individual workout routines. A wide range of hours are available to members.
Just a few yards from the main clubhouse, in a beautiful setting, are five Hartrue tennis courts. These special granular surface clay courts are considered to be the best court surface by most tennis players. Some of the courts are shaded in the morning and late afternoon. A canvas awning provides a shaded waiting and rest area. During the summer months, there is a Tennis Pro on duty to assist with lessons and tournament and matches scheduling.
